Daikin backs FIT models with a 12-Year Parts Limited Warranty and a 12-Year Unit Replacement Limited Warranty. Daikin's standard terms condition those on online registration within 60 days of installation, but its current residential catalog notes registration is not required in Florida. Annual-maintenance requirements still apply to the unit-replacement coverage — one more reason a maintenance plan pays for itself.
